Expert Project Cost Control (m/f/d)

In this two-year role, you ensure transparent financial performance through planning, analysis, and reporting, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and compliance. You will support management with actionable insights and work with cross-functional teams to monitor performance and drive improvements. The position offers exposure to ERP and BI tooling while contributing to accurate, compliant financial processes.

• Prepare, analyze, and explain monthly financial results, KPIs, variances, and performance drivers
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning for the assigned area
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management and stakeholders
• Monitor costs, revenue, margins, working capital, and project/department financial performance
• Ensure accurate reporting, data quality, documentation, and compliance with internal finance standards
• Drive process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency; optimize use of ERP and BI tools

• Several years of experience as a Cost Controller
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, Certified Controller, or equivalent is preferred
• Knowledge of German GAAP / HGB and IFRS where applicable; good understanding of IFRS
• Fluent German and English skills
• Degree-related prerequisites as stated in the job posting
