mySugr Digital Biomarker Data Scientist (m/f/d)

In this role you will advance CGM solutions by turning data into actionable insights that improve patient care. You’ll co-develop algorithms for diabetes-related apps, influence regulatory filings, and guide a cross-functional team to bring innovative digital biomarkers to market. You’ll stay at the forefront of data science and diabetes technology, delivering analyses and artifacts that support clinical relevance and regulatory evidence. • Co-develop new algorithms for the diabetes companion app and support MDR/FDA certification
• Lead development processes by mentoring and guiding team members with strong technical expertise
• Deliver scientific data analyses to support regulatory interactions, marketing materials, and peer-reviewed publications
• Lead data analysis activities within diverse matrix teams in a multi-disciplinary setting
• Stay current with advances in data science and diabetes technology

• 7+ years of hands-on data science experience with digital biomarker and time-series data in diagnostics/pharmaceutical/medical device environments
• Expert knowledge in machine learning and data-driven modeling
• Strong track record analyzing health-related time series data
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, tensorflow, numpy, pyspark)
• Familiar with Git, PEP8, Agile software development
• Experience with AWS in a data science context is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders and work in large, multinational teams
• Leadership experience in algorithm development projects and leading data scientists is a plus
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for digital health technologies and SaMD is a plus
• Exposure to diabetes technology (e.g., glucose simulations, digital twins) and on-device algorithm deployment is a plus
