Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you drive end-to-end bid and proposal efforts for satellite ground solutions, translating customer needs into compelling concepts. You will work with technical teams to cost proposals and shape contract terms, while building lasting relationships with customers and partners. You’ll explore market opportunities and represent the company at events, contributing to knowledge sharing. This position offers international exposure and a chance to shape innovative earth observation and reconnaissance data services.

• Lead and manage bid and proposal projects from initial engagement to award
• Prepare and cost proposals with technical teams, including pre-planning
• Negotiate contracts and develop tailored solution concepts
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams
• Identify market opportunities and study future business and innovation topics
• Represent the company at trade shows and contribute to knowledge management

• Degree in a technical discipline or comparable qualification
• Strong project management experience with systems engineering and V-Model processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, and DOORS
• Analytical and structured working style with initiative and flexibility
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and influencing skills with initial technical leadership
• Customer- and solution-oriented mindset, high integrity, willingness to travel
