Schkopau Site Continuous Improvement Leader (m/w/d)

As Plant CI Leader, you will drive Operational Excellence on the site by deploying DuPont’s OpEx framework and coaching cross‑functional teams to close performance gaps. You will lead daily management, Kaizen, and value‑stream improvements, connecting plant priorities to the broader CI network and digital initiatives. Your work shapes margins, EBITDA, and site maturity through structured problem solving and capability building. This is a change‑lead role focused on sustainable gains and hands‑on mentoring. • Partner with plant leadership to identify performance gaps and priorities linked to SQDIP, margin, EBITDA, and operational maturity
• Build and execute the plant OpEx roadmap aligned with site and business objectives
• Deploy and sustain the DuPont OpEx framework and business system using defined playbooks, roles, and routines
• Coach leaders and teams on Daily Visual Management, Bowler / tiered accountability, Leader Standard Work, action tracking, and escalation
• Use performance data to identify losses, bottlenecks, waste, and execution gaps
• Lead Kaizen events and value stream improvement activities; collaborate to prioritize funnel and sustainment processes
• Coach projects from problem definition through implementation, sustainment, and financial validation using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and data‑based problem solving
• Lead or support the plant PMO including opportunity pipeline, cadence, milestone tracking, and benefit validation
• Build site capability through coaching, OpEx Academy learning, and hands‑on application of 5S, SMED, VSM, Kaizen, and problem solving
• Share lessons learned and leverage the CI network to accelerate adoption of proven practices

• Solid experience in manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, operations, or Operational Excellence
• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Continuous Improvement methods in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading cross‑functional improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, and structured problem‑solving workshops
• Experience developing OpEx roadmaps, project charters, implementation plans, and benefit‑validation approaches
• Lean Practitioner / Continuous Improvement certification preferred
• Green Belt certification preferred or required by site / business expectations
• Coached leaders and teams to build capability and sustain results
• Collaboration and influence across levels and functions
• Ability to coach, teach, mentor, and facilitate practical learning
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Daily Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, and structured problem solving
