Senior GenAI Data Scientist (m/f/d)

In this role you will lead the development of agentic GenAI solutions to power scalable, high-value AI products. You will own knowledge integration, evaluation, monitoring, and collaboration with engineering, data, and product teams to deploy production-ready systems. The position supports a fast-moving, international data science organization and offers opportunities to mentor peers and shape solution architecture. You will work on cutting-edge AI capabilities that drive measurable impact across the company.

• Design and build agentic GenAI systems using modern frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, Atomic Agents) to translate product needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain knowledge integration pipelines (RAG, vector search, fine-tuning, grounding) for accurate outputs.
• Define evaluation strategies, create ground-truth datasets, and implement automated testing/monitoring to detect drift or hallucination.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to integrate AI components into platforms and customer-facing products; design APIs and scalable deployment patterns.
• Mentor peers, guide solution architecture, and promote best practices in coding, testing, observability, and documentation across the organization.
• Experiment with new tools/models/architectures and build prototypes that can scale into production-ready solutions.

• Degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field
• Experience building agentic GenAI systems in production (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, Atomic Agents)
• Strong Python coding skills and solid software engineering practices
• Hands-on with RAG pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, or fine-tuning workflows
• Understanding of AI development challenges (ground-truth data, monitoring, integration complexity, drift)
• Experience deploying AI systems in a cloud environment with modern ML stacks
• Familiarity with MLOps, prompt engineering, or LLM-based application design
• Ability to explain complex AI topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High motivation, ownership mentality, and a drive to build impactful AI products
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
