Staff Engineer, Field Applications

In this role you act as a system-level technical partner for aerospace, defense, and autonomy customers, guiding architectures from concept to production. You will bridge semiconductor, module, and subsystem solutions across RF, navigation, and DSP domains. By enabling rapid prototyping and contributing to product roadmaps, you help expand defense and autonomy ecosystems, especially in Germany. This position offers engaging work at the intersection of radar, EW, and intelligent platforms with cross‑functional teams.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to defense startups, primes, and scale-ups
• Lead architecture and reference design decisions across RF, radar, SDR, MEMS INUs, and power/data paths
• Accelerate programs by enabling reuse of boards, prototypes, and rapid hardware iterations
• Grow defense/autonomy ecosystems in Germany and strengthen ties with integrators and government-linked entities

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years in Applications, Field Systems, or Systems Engineering
• Broad semiconductor knowledge: analog, data converters, power, RF/microwave
• Experience in radar, electronic warfare, military communications, SDR, MEMS IMUs/navigation, autonomous platforms/drones
• Fluent in German and English; German nationality required
