Field Applications Engineer

In this role you will support our Central Europe sales team by delivering high-quality technical guidance to key customers, helping them select and design-in PI solutions. You will travel up to 30% to visit clients across Germany and Italy, driving design wins and revenue growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize customer designs and showcase our latest technology. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to shape power electronics solutions for demanding customers.

• Provide top-tier technical support and advisory to customers via remote and on-site meetings
• Deliver application and design support to assigned key customers
• Optimize customer designs and recommend improvements
• Produce customized hardware designs to meet customer needs
• Lead periodic technical workshops to demonstrate PI technology
• Support Sales team technically to increase design wins and revenue

• BSEE or higher in Electronics Engineering
• Minimum two years’ experience designing High Voltage Switch Mode Power Supplies
• Demonstrable background of power electronics with practical SMPS knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel
• Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)

• Detail-oriented and analytical with customer satisfaction focus
• Experience with High Voltage transformer and AC/DC switched mode power supplies
• Experience with BLDC motor drives
• PCB design tools familiarity
