Overview

In this role you contribute to building the first AI-enabled electronic warfare capability for a 4+ generation fighter jet. You will define and execute V&V strategies, develop high-fidelity simulation models, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards. You collaborate with world‑class AI software teams to meet qualification requirements while surpassing customer expectations. The work blends cutting-edge AI, MBSE, and rigorous verification to enable robust, certifiable systems in defence.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Create and integrate simulation models for HiL/SiL environments
Develop high-fidelity plant models and virtual prototypes using MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys SCADE, or C++
Build tools to automate test procedures and link to MBSE requirements
Negotiate qualification requirements and derive software performance needs with software leads
Improve traceability of qualification requirements across software artifacts
Coordinate V&V activities with project management and guide the team
Oversee V&V documentation and ensure compliance/certification readiness
Lead final software product qualification activities with customer and authorities
Collaborate with QA to ensure V&V deliverables meet standards and address issues promptly
Provide status updates to Chief Engineering and Program Management teams

Zentrale Anforderungen

Extensive V&V experience for avionics or electronic warfare systems from requirements to final qualification
MBSE expert with hands-on use of Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rhapsody (SysML/UML)
Proven ability in behavioral and functional modeling translating natural language requirements into executable models
Experience with test environment/tools development for automating V&V per standards (ARP4754B)
DO-178C experience and successful final qualification
Established relationships with civil or military aviation authorities and participation in panel/SOI activities
Degree in aerospace/electrical engineering, physics, computer science or related engineering discipline
Excellent communication skills and ability to report to stakeholders
Teamwork orientation and ability to guide teams toward aerospace standards
