Named Core Account Executive - Retail

As Named Core Account Executive, you own strategic retail accounts in Germany, shaping data and AI strategies and driving multi-year enterprise deals. You will build boardroom-level relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level, to expand Databricks’ footprint. Your focus is on turning strategy into action, accelerating platform consumption, and delivering measurable business value. This role offers a high-impact opportunity to accelerate Databricks’ growth in the Retail vertical across Central Europe.

• Own strategic accounts and define a clear plan to exceed revenue and consumption targets
• Build executive-level relationships and act as trusted advisor on data and AI
• Identify and progress high-value use cases; expand platform adoption within accounts
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to maximize customer value and accelerate deal velocity
• Lead negotiations with confidence, guiding opportunities from discovery to close
• Engage in demand shaping and maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting

• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex enterprise sales
• Experience selling data, analytics, big data, AI or other cloud software in multi-stakeholder, multi-year cycles
• Ability to identify high-impact data/AI use cases and engage key buying centers
• Strong understanding of consumption-based models and growth within a strategic account
• Familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Value Selling, etc.) and account planning
• Experience building executive champions and cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally
• Fluent in German and English
