Principal Consultant (m/f/d) - Allianz Consulting

As an Inhouse Consultant at Allianz Consulting, you will support cross-functional client engagements to transform Allianz from within, blending strategy, IT, and operations. You work under an Engagement Manager to deliver on deadlines, manage stakeholders, and mentor junior team members. You’ll analyze client needs, contribute to pitches, and help develop innovative concepts, including AI-driven transformation initiatives. This role offers exposure to global teams and opportunities to shape client solutions and process improvements.

• Complete assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including deadlines, problem resolution, and stakeholder management
• Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them
• Contribute to pitches under guidance of an Engagement Manager
• Provide support to existing clients with effective key account management
• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned tasks until completion
• Discuss with the Engagement Manager potential future client needs that may lead to projects
• General contribution to Allianz Consulting
• Ensure adequate development of team members via coaching, mentoring, personal development and training

• University degree or equivalent experience
• Operational insurance business and/or consultancy experience for more than 5 years
• Expert knowledge of AI frameworks, leverage AI tools in everyday tasks, and consult clients on AI adoption for successful business transformation
• Project and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
• Experience in change management, quality management, integration and re-organization as well as training and lecturing
• Analytical and problem solving skills, conceptual and implementation experience
• Communication, facilitation, sales and conflict management skills
• Strategic and operational management experience
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Fluency in written and spoken English
