Overview

As CMP Process Engineer, you will lead advanced CMP development for next-generation materials, including 2D materials like graphene. You will drive fab startup activities, from tool installation to ramp-up, and work with suppliers to select and qualify CMP solutions. You will establish the Process of Record (POR) and ramp-to-production protocols, ensuring seamless integration with chemical delivery and waste systems. This role combines hands-on process mastery with cross-functional collaboration to enable reliable, scalable CMP processes that support the company’s mission in cutting-edge devices.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead development and implementation of CMP processes for 2D materials and novel device architectures
Evaluate and define CMP process specifications; collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to select and qualify CMP tools
Own fab startup activities including tool installation, acceptance testing, recipe validation, and ramp-up
Establish and maintain Process of Record (POR) for critical cleaning steps; define ramp-to-production protocols
Implement and manage SPC systems and drive continuous improvement through data-driven methodologies
Collaborate with facility and equipment teams to ensure integration with chemical delivery and waste systems

Zentrale Anforderungen

Minimum 5 years of hands-on semiconductor process engineering with CMP focus
Deep understanding of contamination control, surface preparation, and CMP challenges
Proven experience with CMP consumables, chemicals, process and hardware
300mm plating tools hands-on experience (AMAT, Ebara)
Experience in fab startup, pilot line development, or technology ramp-up environments
Practical exposure to 2D material preparation and integration is a strong plus
