Vice President – Head of Aircraft Availability Centre (f/m/d)

As Head of the Aircraft Availability Centre, you will lead a global, 24/7 organization focused on maximizing aircraft availability and delivering exceptional service. You’ll integrate operations, maintenance planning, campaigns, and service centers to ensure reliable, high-quality support for customers. This senior role shapes the future of Availability Services within our Business Aviation Services and drives cross-functional collaboration, governance, and continuous improvement. You’ll influence service delivery at scale and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture with a clear impact on customer satisfaction.

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the Aircraft Availability Centre teams (24/7 Operational Service Desk, Maintenance Planning & Campaigns, global Authorized Service Centres)
• Establish and monitor performance measures to improve aircraft availability, service delivery, quality and customer satisfaction
• Lead reactive fleet planning and ensure timely actions to maintain or increase fleet availability
• Identify operational threats and drive mitigating actions
• Prioritize and implement initiatives to improve availability, efficiency and customer experience
• Act as integration point between Project Teams and Services organizations within governance structures
• Champion continuous improvement and sponsor improvement programmes and strategic initiatives
• Support Future Programmes and Service Readiness teams for entry into service
• Develop and manage the global Service Centre Network for consistent, high-quality service
• Build strong stakeholder and partner relationships to align priorities and performance expectations
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive, collaborative culture with leadership development and capability building

• Degree, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline; Master’s preferred
• Strong knowledge of aero-engine products within aerospace/aviation environment
• Experience in logistics, on-wing engine maintenance, maintenance planning or spares management
• Significant international, distributed leadership experience
• Customer-facing experience with understanding of commercial principles and business performance
• Background in operations, programme/project management and continuous improvement
• Ability to lead through complexity, manage priorities and make rapid decisions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse boundaries
• Excellent intercultural awareness and global collaboration
• Business-fluent English; German was noted as advantageous
